Morpheus8 effectively plumps, tightens and lifts the skin on the face, neck and body. The process consists of two elements. Treatment begins by inserting micro needles into the skin, resulting in a controlled trauma. This process causes the release of collagen and elastin in the skin. Following this, radiofrequency uses heat to cause the skin to contract. This, in turn, will bring about a lifting and tightening of the skin, making it appear plumper and more youthful.

You can expect a friendly welcome into the clinic before you are taken to one of the treatment rooms, where you will be treated on an outpatient basis. Before treatment commences you will have topical anaesthetic applied to the area to be treated. Your consultant will then use a portable hand piece to mark a small grid on the area. This ensures that the treatment is focussed on a specific area, without damaging surrounding tissue. 

The Morpheus8 procedure works to deliver energy to the deeper layers of the skin and can be used to treat a variety of aesthetic concerns, including: loose facial skin, scarring, non-surgical blepharoplasty and brow lifts.

The safety and comfort of our patients at Re-Enhance is paramount. We endeavour to make all of our treatments as pain free as possible. That being said, it is perfectly normal for patients to experience some discomfort.

Prior to any Morpheus8 treatment we will apply local anaesthetic cream to cleansed skin in the area. This takes between 20 and 30 minutes to take effect. You can expect to feel some heat and discomfort during the session, which is to be expected. 

Following your treatment you will experience some swelling and redness to the area. This may be sore for a  few days after the procedure, but rest assured that it will soon settle.

Morpheus8 is a noninvasive procedure that’s safe for all skin tones, with little to no risk of hyperpigmentation. You are not suitable for treatment if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or metal implant.

For optimal results, you’ll need a series of up to three sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart.

Morpheus8 recovery is relatively easy, with no real downtime. Usually you can expect one to three days of redness, itchiness, and swelling. That means you can schedule the procedure on a Friday and look normal by Monday, depending on the intensity of the treatment.

Morpheus8 is considered to be a very safe treatment, though you may experience some common temporary side effects. Any bleeding, scabbing, swelling, or redness should subside within a few days. Possible pin prick marks from the needles should fade on their own within two weeks.
